A Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Day...Happy 2nd Birthday Punkin!!!

I just want to start by saying thank you to all of you {my readers}. All of your comments, prayers and support mean so much to me. It is a very rough time right now and Punkin and I have some rough times ahead of us, so please just keep us in your prayers!

With that said, I am so glad that I decided to go through with having the party for Punkin. It was AWESOME! The day was ALL about her, and I didn't think or talk about anything else. I couldn't believe how many people were there {and not all of them were even able to show up}. There were at least 50. I had to run out and get more food! At one point, I heard someone say "Wow, there won't even be this many people at my funeral!" That may seem like a lot of people for a 2 year-old's birthday party...but what can I say? We really do have the BEST family and friends in the world! I am so glad that Punkin will be able to look back at this time and see how many people truly love her and are there for her no matter what.

So, as I said before in another post, the theme for her party was Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I had EVERYTHING decorated for the theme. I didn't get pictures {it was an insane day} of two other large tables {there were four altogether} that were also decorated. One was set up for all of the food, and the other was set up for people to sit and eat but was COVERED in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse party favors. I had been so excited for so long about doing her cake, but with everything that had happened before the party, I didn't do it. At that point, I didn't really care who did the cake as long as there was one there. We had so much food! There was chicken, pizza, hot dogs, potato salad, chips and dips, fruit, soda, and juice. Plus, all of the treats I prepared beforehand.

Before I get into the photos, I really need to say a HUGE thank you to my Mom. If it weren't for her, this party wouldn't have happened. I was a complete wreck the days before Punkin's party, and my Mom helped me with everything. She took care of the bounce house, the cake, ordering the tables and chairs, getting all the food, and so much more. She had to do a lot of traveling, and went all over different cities trying to find the cake toppers {she wanted to get the whole clubhouse gang}. I am so grateful that I have a Mom who is willing to do so much. We both have our moments when we are stubborn and get on each others' nerves. We argue and don't always see eye-to-eye. But at the end of the day, I only have her to thank for so much.  So thank you, Mom! Punkin and I are very lucky to have you in our lives!

Now, are you ready for picture overload? Good!

My Mom did a GREAT job ordering the cake and finding all of the toppers...the figurines are actually all stamps!

This is what you look like when you have about 50 people singing you "Happy Birthday"!

Punkin,

There are no words that are able to express just how much I love you. You are my whole world. These last two years, I have watched you grow from a baby into a little girl. You have been by my side through everything. You are my whole life. Without you, I am truly nothing and I will continue to put you first in everything I do. That is my job, and I am thankful to God for giving it to me. I couldn't have asked for anything more in this life than you! I pray every night and lift you up to God that he watch over you and protect you through everything. Happy Birthday to the funniest, sweetest, smartest, most loving, and most beautiful little girl I know! I love you!!!  ♥
