The wonderful thing about most of the meals I make...they are super easy! Once the veggies are prepared, you are ready to throw everything together.
Tri-Colored Pepper Pork Steaks
Prep: 15 min. ~ Cook: 25 min. ~ Total: 40 min. ~ Serves: 4
Ingredients:
4 pork steaks
2 mini sweet peppers, red {or 1 red bell pepper}, sliced
2 mini sweet peppers, orange {or 1 orange bell pepper}, sliced
2 mini sweet peppers, yellow {or 1 yellow bell pepper}, sliced
2 medium red tomatoes, diced
1/2 medium yellow onion, sliced
2 tsp. fresh minced garlic
1 tsp. parsley {fresh or dried}
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 cups white wine
Season pork steaks with salt and pepper. Place steaks in large pan on medium high heat. Add garlic, parsley and onion. Sear on both sides til golden brown, about 2 minutes each side.
Remove steaks from pan and set aside. Now, you know all of that stuff left over in the pan? Well, it is FULL of flavor!
The best part!
De-glaze pan using your favorite white wine. Whisk up all ingredients.
If only you were able to smell this! Mmmm...
Turn heat on low and return pork steaks back to the pan. Add tomatoes and peppers. Let simmer about 25 minutes or until pork reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
